The Enduring Legacy of Century 21 Heritage Group

A Story of Family, Support, and Vision

The story of Century 21 Heritage Group is one built on a foundation of foresight, unwavering support, and a profound sense of family. It began in 1988, when Pamela Prescott, a visionary in the real estate world, founded Heritage Group. Pamela’s journey in real estate started uniquely in the 1970s, where she honed her skills as a successful realtor to fund her university computer science studies. This blend of business acumen and a deep understanding of people quickly propelled her to become a top producer in the Greater Toronto Area. Yet, her true passion lay not just in selling, but in nurturing talent, leading her to shift her focus towards mentoring and training the next generation of top producers.

From its very first office, opened in Thornhill in 1988, Heritage Group quickly distinguished itself. Pamela’s belief that a brokerage’s primary role is to empower its agents became the cornerstone of the company’s philosophy. This meant providing unparalleled mentorship, comprehensive training, and fostering a vibrant office culture where agents genuinely supported one another, embodying the spirit of being ‘stronger together.’ This ethos was, and remains, deeply ingrained in the fabric of the brokerage.

In 1995, in a move that perfectly aligned with their existing vision, Heritage Group proudly joined the Century 21 franchise. This partnership further amplified their commitment to excellence and agent development. Built on this strong foundation of support and shared values, the brokerage embarked on a path of continuous and steady growth.

Over the next two decades, Heritage Group thoughtfully expanded its footprint, opening several key offices…

A pivotal moment arrived in 2015 when Pamela Prescott, envisioning the future of her brokerage, identified Eryn Richardson as the ideal successor. Eryn, who led one of the brokerage’s top-performing teams, shared Pamela’s core values and dedication to building upon the legacy she had so carefully established. Eryn stepped into the role of General Manager, and together, Pamela and Eryn continued to cultivate the brokerage’s growth, opening a new office in Hamilton in 2017 and rapidly growing the company.

In 2017, Century 21 Heritage Group made a significant move westward, expanding its unique brokerage offerings to the thriving city of Hamilton. This strategic decision marked a new chapter for the company, bringing its distinct approach to a dynamic and growing market. Since then, the Hamilton office has experienced steady and consistent growth, building a strong reputation for excellence and client service. This expansion firmly established Century 21 Heritage Group as a trusted and integral part of the Hamilton real estate community.

The leadership team further strengthened in 2021 with the addition of Linas Kilius. Having successfully run his own marketing company for over a decade and possessing close ties with Century 21 Heritage Group, Linas’s vision seamlessly aligned with Pamela and Eryn’s. This synergy proved to be the perfect fit, propelling the company into its exciting next chapter.

The commitment to growth and serving more communities continued with significant expansions in 2022, as the company ventured into two new markets: Simcoe and Kingston. This was followed by the opening of an Alliston office in 2024.
